About the Foundation

Building the future also means protecting it.

The Transnology Foundation is the climate arm of Transnology, the company behind Acosta AI. We exist to make sure that building new technology also funds the technologies that protect the planet it’s built on.

We focus exclusively on permanent carbon removal: approaches designed to take CO₂ out of the atmosphere and store it for centuries or longer. Reaching net zero by 2050 requires both deep emissions cuts and billions of tons of removal—and the removal industry needs early customers now to get down the cost curve, the way solar, batteries, and genome sequencing did.

What the Foundation does

Direct donation impact

Donations are allocated 100% to carbon removal: 50% through Stripe Climate and Frontier’s portfolio, and 50% through the Foundation’s more select Frontier-vetted projects.

Fixed 50% on every purchase

The Stripe Climate contribution is locked at 50% for all Acosta AI products and shown at checkout. That commitment applies to every purchase; the Foundation’s 50% share applies only to donations.

Select projects, not the whole portfolio

Frontier’s portfolio spans direct air capture, marine removal, biomass storage, mineralization, and field weathering. The Foundation concentrates support on the projects we believe offer the strongest long-term impact.

Part of a global cohort

Through Stripe Climate, we join more than 25,000 businesses across dozens of countries—sending a collective demand signal to researchers, entrepreneurs, and investors building removal at scale.

Our goal

We plan to remove 1,000,000 kg of carbon from the atmosphere by 2040. That’s one thousand metric tons of permanent CO₂ removal — funded by Acosta AI’s Stripe Climate commitment and every Foundation donation between now and 2040.

Transparency

Our Stripe Climate membership and contribution history are public—see our Stripe Climate profile. Contribution totals update within a few days of a purchase; carbon and equivalence figures are forward-looking estimates based on the portfolio’s current weighted average cost per ton.

Transnology is not yet a registered charity, so contributions are not tax-deductible. We say this plainly everywhere donations are accepted.
